Celebrating Community Through Fun and Fitness
At Every Contact Counts, we believe in the power of community, movement and connection. Especially in underfunded and underrepresented areas. Yesterday, that mission came to life in the best possible way as we hosted our Easter Festival at Chalkhill Park.
The event was all about promoting physical and mental well-being through play, activity and togetherness. Families from across the area gathered to take part in a day full of energy, laughter and plenty of chocolate!
Games, Music and a Whole Lot of Easter Eggs
Right from the start, Chalkhill Park was buzzing with excitement. The festival featured a wide range of free activities that brought children and adults alike together in the spirit of celebration:

Bouncy castles for endless jumping fun

Singing and dancing that got everyone moving

Classic games like musical statues

Arts, crafts and loads of hands-on activities
Every corner of the park echoed with music, laughter and the joy of people connecting. Many for the first time in a long while.
Creating Spaces That Matter
Events like this aren’t just about fun (though there was plenty of that!) — they’re about creating safe, inclusive spaces where families in underfunded areas can come together, stay active and build lasting memories.
For us at Every Contact Counts, it reflects our wider mission: to bring fitness and mental health support to communities that are all too often overlooked. Yesterday proved once again just how important these moments of joy and connection truly are.
